Plans for the near future

Hi all,

I have successfully defended my master thesis "Study on Arabic weblogs".

I am grateful to the people that encourages me to develop a system for collecting Arabic blogs and building the Arabic blogs dataset.

I have good news, from now and on, I will dedicate my free time to report about the experiments that I have conducted on Arabic blogs. Basically , experiments on automatic identification of Arabic dialects in Arabic blogs. Besides, other experiments on topic (automatic) identification in blog posts. All my reports will be found in the Arabic blogs wiki

Furthermore, the Arabic blogs dataset will be extended. I will be working the coming months on enlarging the number of blogs in the dataset. I am planning to build a dataset that can represent 50% or more of the Arabic blogspace.

I have another project in mind combining Arabic blogs and Arabic online news, I will talk about this project in my next posts.
