The web site of Aljazeera English reports about a raising success of blogging in Arab Gulf countries, the article titled Weblogs soar in Gulf states is giving an overview of blogging in countries such as Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. According to the article Saudi Arabia has the Gulf's biggest blogging community with about 300 bloggers.

just to clear things out, the biggest blogger community in the Gulf is the Safat Aggregator from Kuwait, with over 600 blog inlisted in it.....!!!

I think that this information is updated since I tried to access it today. However, it was not reachable again.
Therefore, I will post something about the blogging communities in the Gulf to highlight this issue.
